Caregiver at Tamahere Eventide Home and Village
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, committed, dedicated, and hardworking caregivers to join our supportive team at Tamahere Eventide Home & Village. Our facility provides comprehensive care at rest home, dementia, and hospital levels. We offer full-time positions with 32 hours per week, including afternoon, night, and casual shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Work within the responsibilities and boundaries of your role.
Perform NZQA Level 4 person-centred tasks and functions in a health or wellbeing setting.
Recognise and report risks and/or changes in a resident.
Communicate effectively to support a person’s health or wellbeing.
Recognise and respond to signs of vulnerability and abuse.
Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior.
Provide person-centred care to maximise independence.
Be a dedicated team player.
Achieve medication competency as per manager’s discretion.
Qualifications
A completed NZQA Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification, which included practical placement.
Capability to work under RN direction and demonstrate responsibility for your own learning and performance.
Appropriate skills, knowledge, and experience, or the aptitude to learn through orientation and training.
Operational knowledge and problem-solving skills for NZQA Level 4 qualification.
